CHAPTER SIXTY-SIX
On autopilot, I stood up, tucked the phone into my pocket (still recording), and motioned for Terry to move away, but stay within sight of the door. Then, I drew the hood of my jacket over my head, secured it, and eased my back against the wall. Tucked into the gap between the door and stalls, I watched the door swing open in front of me. I could see the shadows of feet in the gap under the door. Pressed back against the wall, I watched the door close to reveal Amazon Woman, her back toward me. I sent a roundhouse kick into her back, which sent her flying and caused pain to spike up my leg and into my spine. The loud thump of Amazon Woman’s landing, followed by the crack of her skull against wood, made me feel a little better. She was now sprawled prone on the floor. She seemed to be stunned, likely due to smacking her head when she fell.
